The Energy Infrastructure Development and Management Company (EIDMC) has been established to play a strategic role in strengthening Pakistan’s capacity to plan, structure, and execute large-scale energy infrastructure projects. As the country continues to expand its power generation portfolio and modernize its transmission network, the need for a specialized project execution platform has become increasingly important. EIDMC is designed to address this need by providing a professional, transparent, and results-oriented institutional framework capable of delivering complex energy projects efficiently and in alignment with international standards.

Our mandate includes the development and execution of both Greenfield and Brownfield energy infrastructure projects. This involves initiating new infrastructure developments, from concept and feasibility to financing and construction as well as optimizing, rehabilitating, and expanding existing energy assets to improve performance, reliability, and operational efficiency across the power sector.

EIDMC’s mission is to support the Government of Pakistan in accelerating the implementation of priority energy initiatives, including transmission networks, renewable energy integration, and regional power connectivity projects. By applying international best practices in project management, procurement, governance, and risk management, the company aims to ensure that strategic investments are delivered on time, within budget, and with high standards of technical, environmental, and social compliance.

The company will actively collaborate with international financial institutions, development partners, private sector investors, and national power sector entities to mobilize expertise, financing, and innovation. Through these partnerships, EIDMC will facilitate structured project development, transparent procurement, and efficient implementation of strategic infrastructure initiatives.
