Mr. Ahsan Shamim completed his BBA and Masters in Accounting from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA. He has extensive work experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Chicago and New York, where he served as a Senior Manager in their assurance practice, dealing with a variety of financial services clients.

On returning to Pakistan, he joined LUMS as Assistant Professor and MBA Program Director in the Suleman Dawood School of Business.

He was the Chief Financial Officer at Infrastructure Development Authority of Punjab (IDAP), before joining Punjab Financial Advisory Services (PFAS) in the same role.
